USDA’s Wildlife Services killed 4 million animals in 2013; seen as an overstep by some

The more than 4 million animals shot, poisoned, snared and trapped by the Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services in fiscal year 2013 included 75,326 coyotes, 866 bobcats, 528 river otters, 3,700 foxes, 12,186 prairie dogs, 973 red-tailed hawks, 419 black bears and at least three eagles, golden and bald.

Are you sure you want to go there? According to the link. "Ranchers and farmers pay half the agency’s costs of killing animals that they view as a threat." It is these businesses, large and small (capitalists) that are requesting many of the killings.

But I thought liberals were all about nature and wildlife and secondly it is not the taxpayers responsibility to provide pest control they can buy guns n traps or hire Orkin on their own dime .
