I'm old and I've never heard one person suggest that socialism is the way for this country. Not once . Along with that I've also never seen a right winger that has a clue what it even means to be socialist even when they are tagging everyone on the left as socialist. The only way they can do this is by defining socialism themselves and it's always some goof ball Idea what it means and general it is shared with all other right wingers, hell each one of them has their own definition of what socialism is. This is also the same with the goofball commie attacks on everyone. These people have no clue.

See Bernie Sanders and Alexandra Ocasio - Cortez for starters...

Denying is not new behavior from the left...many deny being liberal and most deny being socialist, they know it's inherently foul in their hearts.

Well, there was Teddy Roosevelt, who advocated socialized medicine. And there was FDR, who founded social security and AFDC (and the CCC and the WPA). Lyndon Johnson oversaw the start of medicare, and food stamps.

Some people think these are all examples of socialism.
