Has anyone here ever heard one person advocate for socialism in the country

Because giving people with pre existing conditions access to medical care, allowing people who have had serious illnesses and used up their lifetime benefits to get health care, making people who don't have health insurance pay a fee to defray the cost of their emergency room visits, admitting that it's highly unlikely that youth under 26 are going to get a job that provides health care, and making provision for people to be able to get group health care even if their job doesn't supply it is a very bad idea.

And we don't want those 20 million more people to have health care.

Obamacare, what a disaster. Surely, the system we had before must have been better. Obamacare, after all, has Democratic cooties on it.
You are conveniently forgetting the millions of people kicked off their plans, the millions of people who had to pay higher premiums and the millions who are stuck paying for plans they can't use because the deductibles are too high.
You are also forgetting that Obamacare hasn't reduced the use of emergency room visits Contrary to goals, ER visits rise under Obamacare
And that those 26 year olds are being forced to subsidize the care of higher income older people.

Millions were not kicked off their plans, their plans were made illegal due to improved terms and had to be restructured to fit the new law. They simply renewed with a new plan just as we all choose every single year. You do understand that your employer shops every year for a better plan right?

Anyone not wearing blinders knows that we are under attack, by those who are corrupted by creed and power, and they're trying to strip us/US of the fundementals our nation was founded with and meant to endure the evil side side of human nature.
To me, it sounds like you are describing the Trump Crime Family.

You are enjoying this life, living in the greatest nation on the planet...recently enjoying a fast economic recovery...because of conservative based, free market capitalism.

While you like your silly brethren falsely claim socialism brought us here.

Nothing new under the sun...
Donald Trump is NOT a proponent of 'free market capitalism'. If you believe he is, you've been bamboozled, hornswoggled, and hoodwinked.

Oh, I didn't forget about any of that. Some people were worse off after the ACA passed. Overall, that's not the case, but there are some who had problems because of it.

Therefore, the thing to do is to:

A. See if the plan can be fine tuned so that those who weren't better off could be helped, or
B. Try our best to sink the ACA, make sure it fails, and then attempt to repeal it, even when there is nothing to replace it, or
C. Make it a political football, do our best to try to torpedo it until it becomes obvious that, overall, most people like the ACA better than what existed before or
D. Launch a disinformation campaign to try to ensure than no one really knows what the ACA really is, starting with scary talk about "death panels."

You know what the difference between a war and an entitlement program is? Wars end. Here's your problem. You can't tax Medicare into stability. There simply aren't enough billionaires out there. The only way to make it work is to control medical inflation. Which is yet another failure of Obamacare. I don't know why you people who supported that failure think you are in any way qualified to tell everyone else what will fix our health care economy.
We went to war in Afghanistan in late 2001, and we're still fighting there today, going on 18 years later. Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires.

One wonders what President Trump's plan is "to control medical inflation". He did promise us "much better and much cheaper healthcare." We're still waiting. At what point will you unhesitatingly call Mr. Trump a 'failure'?

When he failed to repeal and replace Obamacare. That's on the GOP Congress too. They should have had a plan ready to go when Trump took office.

Afghanistan was a relatively minor war until Obama's failed surge when we lost thousands of US lives and hundreds of billions of taxpayer cash, and still lost.

Luckily Commander in Chief Trump is bringing our boys and girls home, finally.
