Repeal and replace "Obamacare" was a campaign slogan.
Build the wall was another.
Mexico will pay for it yet another.

There were many.

Which reminds me of a story:

A politician dies and is waiting at the Pearly Gates when the Devil approaches and says, "Don't you want to see what Hell is really like first?"
That sounds like a sort of bizzarre idea, but the pol goes along with it. What can a look hurt?
They take the down elevator, and get out. They are surrounded by stately mansions along beautiful tree lined boulevards. There are fancy new cars in every driveway. Beautiful parks are everywhere, with happy children playing in them.
So, the pol decides to go along with the Devil. He goes down again, and gets off the elevator.
The stench of sewage is in the air. There is garbage everywhere. Pitiful beggars are on every street corner. Starving dogs paw through piles of garbage looking for food. Flies are everywhere.

"Hey," says the pol. "Where are all of the mansions and beautiful parks?"

"Oh, that was the campaign. This is after the election."

Having a plan to replace Obamacare with something better was during the campaign. This is after the election.
Funny how short (and convenient) liberal memories are...

You can keep your plan

You can keep your doctor

Taxes will not be raised "NOT ONE SINGLE DIME"
Frickin hypocrites

You block - obstruct - distract - hurl false allegations and create false conspiracies

Then complain about the wall not done yet, about obamacare not kicked to the curb yet...and ignore the amazing amount of accomplishments Trump has made so far...in much shorter time than Obama as he just floundered, blustered and failed...and allowed 4 US ambassadors to die...while he helped sell a lie about an over reaction to a film

Overall that IS the case. It's criminal in my mind to take from the producers so the lazy can enjoy free stuff.

Most people recognize the aca is far from affordable
and yet, the overall cost of health care did level off after the ACA was passed, this despite (or maybe because of) more people being covered by insurance.

Do you think someone on welfare should lose their Medicaid coverage if they go to work?
Should someone who decides he/she doesn't need health insurance pay a fee for the use of the emergency room? Should they have use of the emergency room for free? At all?
Yes, the ACA is far from affordable. Our health care system was far from affordable before it was passed.

Most of us kept our plan. I did.
Most of us kept our doctors as well.
Taxes were not raised.
The Republicans had no plan to put in place of the ACA. That's why it's still the law of the land.
The allegations are not false.
The Trumpers can fault the ACA for not being perfect. They can not come up with a better plan.

It went from expensive and too costly to completely unaffordable.

No amount of libbie spin alters this.

Taxes were raised - quick short list...REMEMBER he said "not one dime"

ACA individual mandate excise tax

Employer mandate tax

Surcharge tax hike on investment income

HSA withdrawal tax hike

Lies, lies and more lies as Obama/Pelosi/Reid made it so producers(self employed small business folk), not lazy citizens that just suck from the system, could no longer afford health insurance

Trump had a great idea on his campaign trail. He stated on 60 minutes that all American's would have healthcare and the Government would pay for it. But that's what Trump does, he just says shit and people are suppose to believe him. Trumpster's are suckers. Remember the wall Mexico was going to pay for. You fell for it.

Maybe since you are Anti-Socialist you should burn your SSI Card.

The "mandate" taxes were simply a fee paid by people who choose not to have health insurance and instead use the emergency rooms for free. Do you think those freeloaders should have to pay?

No, the ACA is not perfect, but it's better than the non plan we used to have, and the one that the Republicans don't have. It at least provides a way for people with pre existing conditions to have access to health care. Do you believe that Gramma and her heart condition should be left out of health care?
