Thats just it. The candidate needs to forget about the popular vote and focus on the EC. If you cant pick up those midwestern states you will lose. Picking a coastal candidate is asking for trouble because already most consider them "coastal elites."
I think a bi-partisan ticket would be great myself!! And I live on the "coast"....

That describes a lot of trump supporters, so it just might work.
Lots of people seemed surprised by the results of the last big election, so ya never know how things'll turn out.

I got no problem with the popular vote deciding.

And no problem with the EC.

I just hate WLB's making a big deal about it after their side loses.

Trump won the election under the rules in place at the time.
