so , everyday we wake up to a president that's blatantly flaunting and is, in fact, boldly proclaiming that he's above the law. To this, the response from his base, as well as a sizable portion of his party, is to go along with it; either in silence, or a cult-like admiration. Now, ask yourself whether this would have even been imaginable if it were Obama? The answer, of course , is not just no - but hell no. It's true that it wouldn't have been imaginable under any other president. Except, for the fact that no other president has played on the notion of "white privilege" the way that Trump does.

Recall please, that the GOP had all but abandoned the "southern strategy" in 2012 after Obama was reelected. They had done their analysis of the election after Romney lost and decided they'd do "minority outreach". Recall also, that this strategy didn't go over very well with the base. Then, Trump came along and revived that strategy and put it on blast. Indeed, it shocked the world when a man that was so openly racist was actually elected president of these united states. Especially, in light of the fact that it followed in the wake of having our first African American president. Trump is now poised to take his notions of white privilege all the way to our US Supreme Court. To, indeed, in not so subtle terms, put the notion of white privilege on trial. Even if it's not technically being argue before the court.

More lies to spew more hate and show their double standard and hypocrisy

Lol! Every time one of you lot make that pronouncement, we have to remind you that LIBERALS were the party of Lincoln. LIBERALS fought and stopped slavery. Which party it was doesn't matter. CONSERVATIVES wanted to keep slavery. CONSERVATIVES wanted to secede from the Union.

There were no modern day Liberals / Conservatives back then. Your statement is not based on reality.
