Is NightSwimmer ok? I don't know how close to the coast he is but he lives down that way.

Is everyone in the hurricane's wake ok?
Several on the board live in that area. Almost a million have lost power. This is going to be a long one.

Hope they all check in when they can. Downgraded to a 1, but it is the rain and surge that will do the damage.

Our coastline is disappearing.

Luckily it was only a category 1 when it hit. Not a category 3.

The wind isn't that bad. The flooding is going to suck though.

I know because I look at it and can see it in the same place it was 40 years ago with my own two eyes. ^^
Perhaps she was referring to the "beach sand" at the coastline.

Some of that may have been relocated.

That can always be fixed...

But, yeah, I would guess that the coastline is still there.
