Jews and Christians should heed Omar incident.

Ilhan Omar, a Somali-American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district, has become one of the darlings of the new militant leftist Democratic Party. She is regarded almost as a beatified deity of identity politics and she is as untouchable in that role as a sacred cow is in Hinduism.

This produces a problematic picture for many Americans because Omar has been spreading social media screeds steeped in what any reasonable observer can only describe as anti-Semitic hate speech. Jews and Christians are the targets of choice for contemporary political and academic haters of western civilization. Authoritarian misanthropy has singled out Jews and Christians throughout millennia and the socialist paradigm erupting from the Democratic Party is just the latest manifestation.

Any American that is a Jew or a Christian should watch the actions of the Democrats very closely and remember the lessons of history. Purveyors of centralized fascism/socialism like Hitler and Stalin hated Jews and Christians because both elevated religion over government.

Contemporary Democrats are on a mission to dismantle American democracy and supplant it with fascist socialism. They use identity politics to enlist enemies of those who resist the state in favor of religion. The enemy of my enemy is my friend so to speak. The ultimate objective is to remove all threats to state allegiance. According to the plan, the real Manna from Heaven is taxation and totalitarian slavery of not just the body but of the mind and spirit.

The smoking gun is their refusal to name the hateful offender and censure her. They had no qualms about naming Brett Kavanaugh and publicly convicting him with the hate speech of guilt by accusation sans proof.

Hate speech is a useful tool and Democrats have crafted it well which is why they are condoning the dark, deliberate actions of Omar with excuses and impunity. Jews and Christians should watch their backs because they are in direct competition with the emerging statist socialism slithering from the left.

If these people are successful at taking out Trump there is no doubt that Jews and Christians will remain their crosshairs. There is no room for legitimate identity blending in the recipe of the socialist matrix. All we need to do is see what’s happening right in front of our faces.

Omar says the Jews/Israel have hypnotized the world. Where have we heard that before?

The diatribe above fails to convinvce me that the author is "any reasonable observer".

Any reasonable observer would conclude that where "antisemitism" once meant "hatred of Jews*, its meaning has been extended, and is now used to demonise any criticism of Israel, or indeed support for Palestinians.

What is called new antisemitism is characterized by hatred of Jews masking itself as hatred for Israel and support of Palestinian terrorists, where the eradication of Israel is the ideological goal. Thus, criticism of Israel merely hides the underlying antisemitism. To advocate the eradication of Israel is antisemitic.

What would be interesting to see is whether creation of an actual Palestinian state would decrease terrorism. My suspicion is that it would not.

I don't know how old you are but I remember as a kid seeing English politicians and talking heads on TV saying that giving the Irish home rule would do nothing to stop the decades of bombing and assassinations and terrorist attacks. Because, presumably, the Irish were just crazy irrational terrorists.

The darndest thing happened.

They "allowed" the Irish to govern themselves and there hasn't been a significant IRA terrorist threat in England since.

It's almost as through brutally oppressing people somehow contributes to their violent attacks.

I don't remember anyone, ever, thinking that criticizing the UK for its actions in Ireland was someone anti-Anglo Saxon.

Israel can be criticized just like any other country. It's a country. Just like any other.

Well sure.

But imagine you had their history. Wouldn't you double take on criticism? That isn't to say it's right to call all criticism anti-semitism, but it's where some of this comes from.

The Palestinians are not trying to kick the Jews out of the country of Palestine, but the country of Israel. They want none left in the region at all. They are not saying, "just leave us alone to our own country." They literally all the Jews gone from Israel. That is why any concession to peace Israel has made has been met with increased attacks.
Israel can be criticized just like any other country.
But it is not criticized "just like any other country." It receives far, far more. It is the focus of world ire, never mind other things going on in the world.
