A New York City judge has ordered that President Trump sit for videotaped testimony in a lawsuit brought by protesters who say they were assaulted by Trump’s security guards during the 2016 campaign

The Bronx-based judge, Doris M. Gonzalez, wrote that Trump’s testimony is “indispensable” to the trial, which is scheduled to begin Thursday. She wrote he must therefore be examined by videotape before then, though Trump is likely to ask for a delay.

The protesters argue Trump, his campaign and business should be held liable for the actions of security guards who were working for the company. They say, even if Trump didn’t directly order the guards to act, he had control over their actions because they were his employees and his campaign trail rhetoric gave them the impression that violence would be condoned.Judge orders President Trump to testify in 2015 lawsuit

watch trump just refuse to comply with the ruling . What could the court possibly do then? This part was more than a little interesting to read ...
They wrote that the plaintiffs have advanced no reason that Trump’s testimony is necessary in the case “beyond an apparent desire to subject the President to politically fueled cross-examination on issues that have no real bearing on the claims or defenses in this proceeding.”

Gonzalez rejected that argument, ruling that Trump’s testimony is critical and he should find time to provide it

They can go to Hell. This goes WAY beyond the scope of Harrassment. Those rotten thugs protesting should have been arrested for assault.

If he doesn't answer then the judgment is against him so he will have to write a big check.

The left are miserable thugs, and some wear dirty black robes.

How the President's testimony is indispensable for the trial is a laugh.

Just how could the president's testimony be relevant?

Maybe the plaintiff's lawyers are hoping for an out of court settlement. Money to be made thru the courts.

Lol, she can't force a president into court.

She is an idiot for even thinking that.

Can you imagine what the left would do if this was possible? They would try to tie up Trump in court every day of the week and prevent him from doing his job.

This judge needs to removed ASAP.

Bill Clinton argued that a sitting president couldn't be made to testify in court. The Supreme Court ruled against him, 9-0.

Trump had already lost the same argument in another case, where he is being sued for sexual assault and defamation by a former Apprentice contestant. That case is proceeding, and Trump will have to testify.
