There isn't much info in your link. I can't tell whether they're profitable or not. If they're profitable and are developing innovative products, then what is the story? So what if Pelosi's BIL has an interest in alternative energy? A lot of lefties do and they tend to work in the industry and/or invest in it. Exactly what is the story here?

While it seems doubtful that Mr. Pelosi's family connections didn't get him some sort of favor in obtaining the loan, and its an interesting story, if his company is otherwise profitable and appears able to pay the loan back, there's nothing particularly scandalous about this.

Then again, if his company goes the same way as Solyndra, that is a big problem.
