So it appears not all of LE is willing to capitulate to the CEO of the USA. It's nice to see that there are good people working in a job where many have brought askance upon the mostly brave people that work in this field.

The sheriff of El Paso, Texas, wants nothing to do with Trump’s abusive tactic of separating families — so he has barred his deputies from working at a nearby “tent city” housing migrant children who have been stolen from their parents, Texas Monthly reports.

“The Sheriff’s Office will not be working at these facilities, as we don’t support the current administration’s position of separating children simply to discourage illegal immigration,” Sheriff Richard Wiles announced.

Wiles was approached by federal officials asking him to provide off-duty deputies for security work at the Tornillo, Texas, tent city, which was quickly built this month. But he declined.

That policy of separation is over. Is this story dated? June 21... hmmm ... seems strange. We are currently operating under the Obama Policy when it comes to families and separation.

Terrible, nice comfortable tents. House 'em in the open I guess. <sarcasm>

The only policy the left approves of is catch-and-release. Wherein these wonderful folks promise to show in court and 97% never do show.

Trump saved us from Obama's evil policy of separating families with an Executive Order, huh?

Think he should get a medal, or something? ;)

I found this:

"The Justice Department’s data from FY 2016 puts “in absentia” cases — immigration cases for which there are no defendants — at just 25 percent, not the 97 percent the president estimated. So just one in four immigrants failed to show up for their hearings. This was a drop from 28 percent in FY 2015."
