The Constitution doesn't say that the States shall choose Electors in such a manner as to "honor the States vote." It's in whatever manner they choose.
And, just a little history lesson for you since I've already taught you Constitutional Law 101, in the beginning for most States there was no "States' vote" at all. Originally, you and I couldn't have voted at all. It wasn't until the early 19th century that normal citizens voted in Presidential elections, in most States.
