Poll: Clinton or Sanders could beat Trump in general election - UPI.com

Apparently that Rasmussen (aka "Rightwing-mussen") poll a few weeks back was an outlier. Clinton still holds a lead over Trump, Sanders even more.

Which is why you can expect a ramping up on the force-fed Hillary bashing from Rightwing Media. And pipe-dreams about "Sanders supporters will stay home" or even the more fantastical "Sanders will run 3rd Party." (which will then be parroted by their gullible audience on the blogs.)

Because Rightwing Media knows the truth.....but, of course, can't tell its audience the truth.

Hillary Clinton has a lead of 45-41 percent over the presumptive GOP nominee, while Sen. Bernie Sanders' margin is bigger at 48-39 points.
Why wouldn't you put up the stronger candidate against Trump? Clinton and Trump are in a dead heat.

the New York-based real estate developer is seen as being more honest and trustworthy (44-39 percent) and a stronger leader (49-45 percent).

Trump is also viewed as being more inspiring than Clinton (48-39 percent) and voters stated by 47-39 percent that they would rather invite the former Apprentice host to a backyard barbecue.

Rasmussen's track record is as good as anyone elses. No one has a 100% correct record in theses things.

Hillary had double digit leads over Trump a month or so ago, and that has vanished. The LWNJ types are getting nervous, especially since Hillary has yet to put an old Red named Bernie away and we are in June.

If it is a poll for the California Primary next week it is relevant, if it is for the 2020 Presidential race, not so much.

If she wins New Jersey and California and Bernie doesn't drop out, it will not have been possible to "put him away."

He'll be a guy that has decided this is in the end of his career and he either is going to win or get as much attention as possible before it's over.

Clinton threw in the towel to Obama on June 7, 2008. As we all know, this did not have a significantly detrimental effect on Democratic unity.
