Here are my picks and numbers for the Week Two games, and I once again invite people to give this 'pool' a try. You simply pick a winner in each game, and rank each game from 1 to 16 based on how confident you are in your pick, with your '1' game being your LEAST confident pick, and your '16' pick being your MOST confident pick. High point total after all games are played wins 'bragging rights' for that week. All in good fun. It is a lot more fun if more than two people are participating!

I am probably picking too many road teams to win this week, am picking HALF of the games to be won by the road team. Week two games are notoriously hard to pick! I note road picks with an asterisk.

Baltimore (1-0) at Cincinnati (1-0): *Baltimore, 7

Miami (1-0) at NY Jets (1-0): NY Jets, 10
Houston (0-1) at Tennessee (0-1): *Houston, 12
Minnesota (1-0) at Green Bay (1-0): *Minnesota, 5
Carolina (1-0) at Atlanta (0-1): Atlanta, 4
Kansas City (1-0) at Pittsburgh (0-0-1): *Kansas City, 1
LA Chargers (0-1) at Buffalo (0-1): *LA Chargers, 13
Philadelphia (1-0) at Tampa Bay (1-0): *Philadelphia, 6
Indianapolis (0-1) at Washington (1-0): Washington, 15
Cleveland (0-0-1) at New Orleans (1-0): New Orleans, 8

Oakland (0-1) at Denver (1-0): Denver, 14
Arizona (0-1) at LA Rams (1-0): LA Rams, 16
New England (1-0) at Jacksonville (1-0): Jacksonville, 2
Detroit (0-1) at San Francisco (0-1): San Francisco, 11

NY Giants (0-1) at Dallas (0-1): *NY Giants, 9

Seattle (0-1) at Chicago (0-1): *Seattle, 3

Seven new coaches in the NFL this year.

Record in week one: 0 - 7.

Most of them took over lousy teams, sure, but 0 - 7?

Maybe two of them will be matched up soon...

Oops, obvious correction needed, and too late to edit, I guess; New Orleans is 0-1, not 1-0! I think that's the only error, LOL.

Were they counting Jon Gruden as one of the 'new' coaches?
Yes, he is "new" to the 2018 Raiders.

Patricia of the Lions looked pretty bad last night.

To lose that bad, at home, against a rookie QB, after the way the game started...

And, the Lions had winning records the last two seasons.

Wonder if they are second guessing in Detroit?

I'm sure they are. But do you put more of the blame on Matt Patricia, or on Matthew Stafford? It was Stafford who looked like the rookie QB last night.

I feel bad for Patricia. Imagine getting demoted from Patriots defensive coordinator to Lions head coach.

Yes, very soon, in fact: Chicago at Arizona, in Week Three, will feature two of the teams with new coaches, that are now 0-1, and I expect both of them to be 0-2 after this next week.
