I'm sure they are. But do you put more of the blame on Matt Patricia, or on Matthew Stafford? It was Stafford who looked like the rookie QB last night.
Stafford HAS been a good QB.

They said he has the record for most yards passing for a QB before age 30.

Of course, a lot of that was because he was playing from behind.

I woulda guessed Marino, but they played 14 games back then, maybe?

It's not just the danger, it's the degeneracy, the depression, the decadence, the depravity, the decline, the decay.

It's DETROIT.
Yeah, and wasn't Detroit compared to Beruit once?

During their civil war?

At least Beruit has a beach.

Couldn't pay me enough to live in Detroit...

I would MUCH rather live in Beirut than in Detroit. Yes, Beirut has beaches. And it has some nightlife, and some fabulous looking babes. I've seen pictures! Beirut is cosmopolitan.

[The President's adviser, Stephen Miller, doesn't like that word, 'cosmopolitan'. He thinks cosmopolitan people are 'bad' people. Fuck him.]

I'm sure there are nice parts of Detroit.

No parts that have good weather, though.

I could see living in SOME parts of Michigan during SOME parts of the year...

I think the Lions are one of two of the original teams of the entire Super Bowl era to never make it there.

The Browns are the other, of course...

In two consecutive years, John Elway and the Denver Broncos kept Bernie Kosar and the Cleveland Browns from advancing to the Super Bowl. The first year, it was 'the Drive', in Cleveland. The next year, it was 'the Fumble', in Denver.

By the way, the ONE time I went to Detroit, I was promptly mugged.

So I have my own intensely personal reasons for kind of disliking Detroit.

This was when I was going to school at Michigan State University. Buddy of mine and I were going with our girlfriends to a George Harrison concert in Detroit. We had driven there and were walking to the concert venue when we were confronted by about eight thugs armed with knives who were demanding all our money and stuff. My friend had multiple black belts in martial arts, and I kind of looked at him, but he shook his head. Too much risk of getting our girlfriends hurt. So we gave them our wallets, and my friend gave them his very nice watch. They got our concert tickets, too. Assholes.

Never did get to see George Harrison. Never care to see Detroit again.
