You missed this:

No, I read that too. Picking one particular category of crime which non-citizens are convicted of more often than citizens (proportionally) doesn't change the fact that they aren't convicted of crimes more than citizens overall. Necessarily, it means there are other categories where they commit crimes at lower rates than citizens. Let's cherry pick some crimes that non-citizens are convicted of at a lower rate than citizens:

Arson
Child Pornography
Firearms offences
Manslaughter
Robbery
Sexual Abuse

ABE: Looks like I messed up somewhere in my original calculation. Looking at the detailed breakdown, non-citizens make up about 16.9% of non-immigration convictions overall.
