Ohio Has The Most Fucked Up Liquor Laws On Planet Earth

I CANNOT buy a bottle of single malt scotch in this state . Nobody outside the state and inside the US will ship here. People outside the US want a fucking arm and a leg to ship here. The fucking state owns the fucking liquor stores, and they don't carry a very nice selection of single malt scotch.

I have LITERALLY just spent a few hours, trying to buy this:

Not a fucking gun, or few ounces of marijuana, or a box of fentanyl patches.

Just some BOOZE.

This state SUCKS!

Wherever else you might have thought was the WORST STATE in the US, you were wrong. It is Ohio, where apparently, Prohibition never ended.

I could probably buy my scotch in Saudi Arabia, whilst naked shopping, easier than I can here.

We had state liquor stores for a long time here, but about 5 years ago they abolished them and now we have liquor in the grocery stores.

And from what I see, the state hasn't fallen apart, the fears about kids passed out in the gutter etc never happened.

Well, you'll just have to take the Buick across the line to Kentucky, I can't imagine Kentucky limiting access to good whiskey!

Thx :)

And the Cleveland Indians have won their last 18 games in a row.

Life ain't perfect.....but it's pretty good!!!
I would be happily smoking (or eating) marijuana, rather than trying to buy a decent scotch, but even though we legalized marijuana LAST FALL, this fucking state is still fucking around and not one dispensary has opened for business. At the rate they're going, none ever will.

I should just do like everyone else in this beshitted state, and go buy some fucking HEROIN.

But there is the risk that Kentucky thinks only Kentucky Whisky is good Whisky... and that they might not want anyone to buy Single Malt Scotch :)

I can buy crappy liquor in the grocery, or at least some of them, but nothing decent. I don't mind crappy gin or vodka, but crappy scotch is just HORRIBLE.

Yes, I guess it was the birthplace of bourbon, might be kind of dangerous asking for scotch, how about Pennsylvania then?

Thx :)

It's not even the same thing, FFS! It's made with CORN.

Like this:

Scotch is made with barley.

In Scotland. At gorgeous distilleries that have been around for centuries.

i agree with the Scotch quality raise...

On a side note.. running your crappy Vodka or Gin 3-4 times through a general Brita (or similar) water filter with a charcoal cartridge... makes it pretty much premium. You gotta try it.
