22 million fewer Americans insured under Senate GOP bill - Jun. 26, 2017

The Republicans are making GREAT progress. Under their FIRST House plot, er, I mean plan, to repeal Obamacare, a whopping 24 million mostly low-income Americans would have lost their health insurance.

Under the SECOND House plan, the one that passed the House, only 23 million would have lost coverage.

And now, with the Senate plan, only 22 million will lose coverage!

This is GREAT PROGRESS! Trump is making America GREAT again!

Just 22 more plans, and they might be down to NOBODY losing their coverage!

CBO: 22 Million More People Would Be Uninsured by 2026 Under Senate’s Health Care bil

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is weighing-in on the Senate’s health care plan. And Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who so badly has wanted to get a deal done before the Senate’s July 4 recess, isn’t going to be happy with their findings.

The CBO’s examination of the GOP-authored plan concludes that 22 million more people will be uninsured by 2026 when compared to the current law, the Affordable Care Act. In all, 49 million people would be uninsured, compared with the CBO’s estimate of 28 million people under Obamacare.

I like how they can make projections 9 years out into the future. It's a very dynamic situation, lots of variables, lots of unknowns.

The Watchman,

That assumes Obamacare would still exist in 2026.

This bill is a train wreck in every way possible for Republicans.
If that train wreck would just kill all those 22 million people on the spot, that would really make all of this so much easier. On everyone. No one wants lingering deaths.
