I think it was mostly fine. I didn't like the quick transition from slave trading to vibrant culture in the first paragraph. I feel like the hardships that were overcome were largely glossed over.

I admit to only reading the first couple of sentences; nevertheless, I bet that is a couple more sentences of the proclamation than Trump read.
