Racist Liberal Media?

You decide.

Today I was listening to KQED, talking about an incident where a "white man" murdered a "black woman" on BART. Sad incident, indeed, but why were they making such a big deal about the race of the perpetrator and victim?

https://www.kqed.org/arts/13837639/nia-wilson-and-the-war-on-black-women

And news agencies all over the bay area were falling over themselves covering the protests about the incident with protesters shouting "no justice, no peace," and "justice for Nia."

They even interviewed a protester who stated "If the victim looked like me, the police would be out there in force looking for him." (even though by that time, they had arrested the perpetrator, a recently released felon and homeless person.)

Even actress Anne Hathaway chimed in calling the crime an example of white privilege.

However, all these great liberal news stations failed to report that two different people who looked like the protester had murdered two white people on BART two days previous. Heck, BART didn't even feel the need to report that two people had been killed previous to this woman. The subject didn't even come up except as an afterthought on a separate news story about how dangerous BART is.

I guess, paraphrasing "Animal Farm": "All racial crimes are equal, just some racial crimes are more equal than others."

The only people the fake news MSM are more racist against other than white folks is black conservatives.

Man, they really pour on the racism with those folks.

Mr. Ford,

They are really trying hard to make this a race thing, but unfortunately for them, it looks like a random attack by a nutjob transient.

can't say I understand the premise of the OP. There were three murders. All of them were covered. One of them is being covered more because of the protests. Also, Anne Hathaway was on Fox News. But, you called them a liberal news station. Then, you use another network KBIX in San Francisco , which would seem to qualify as a liberal network, and complain because they're covering all three murders. You've got three difference networks. KQED, Fox News and KBIX.

KQED did cover two of the murders.....https://www.kqed.org/news/11683791/suspect-in-fatal-bay-fair-bart-assault-surrenders-to-police

While the others were covered on other networks.

KQED is public broadcast.

So , how do you figure they're liberal?

the Watchman,

You are incorrect. There were three murders, two of which were not covered until the third murder, and then, only as an afterthought. Anne Hathaway was reported by Fox News, she is not on Fox News. I don't know what the purpose of your meaningless third comment is.

With regard to you point about KQED covering the murder, that was more than a week after the fact, not when the murder occurred.

Similarly, the murder occurred on July 20, your Mercury News story was on July 26.

And my point was that all three were simply murders by whack jobs, but because liberals love to fan the flames of racial hatred, the murder of the black woman was advertised as a racial incident.

Sorry to just totally destroy every one of your premises.
