A 15-year-old with a rainbow on her sweater. A mother ordering a cake with bright colors and posting a picture of her daughter's happy birthday on facebook and the mother's facebook post gets shared to the staff of the so-called Christian school.

Kayla is now in public school. Unsurprisingly it's a difficult adjustment. Still, no matter what kinds of challenges she might face at the public school, this girl is probably in a better place, and probably on track to a more fulfilling life. Not hard for any place to be a better place than that "Christian" school. Just sad that she was forced into it by people who are paranoid about a girly teenager doing stereotypical girly teenage things.

"..... the latest in two years worth of Lifestyle Violations"

Find another school.

Private Schools have the RIGHT to set their own rules.

Leftist and their entitled indignation .....

Go Figure.

A fundamentalist Christian school should be aware of the rainbow as a symbol of God's covenant with mankind.

You can't promote homosexuality and other perversions at a private Christian school. You're gonna get kicked out for it.

Notice the mother in the interview didn't mention any stance against homosexuality. It was all about "being judged."

It's a curiosity why Kayla's mother thought a fundy school would be a good place to mold her daughter to begin with. But now both Kayla and the mother know better. Kayla is better off for having learned this lesson by age 15 and breaking free from the fundy orbit at this age, rather than spending her 20's and 30's trying to find the self she suppressed in order to fit into that oppressive environment.
