Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar is appointed to the House Foreign Affairs committee despite anti-Israel remarks
Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer weighs in on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to place Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar on the House Foreign Affairs committee.
Freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar floated taxing the wealthy at a rate of up to 90 percent, joining fellow Democrats pushing for much higher rates on the top bracket to pay for sought-after programs like "Medicare-for-all."
In an interview this week on “Through Her Eyes,” a new weekly show on Roku, Ilhan, D-Minn., suggested “a few things” to change when looking to pay for high-cost programs.
“One of them is that we can increase the taxes that people are paying who are the extremely wealthy in our communities,” she explained. “So, 70 percent, 80 percent, we’ve had it as high as 90 percent. So, that’s a place we can start.”

What is wrong with the voters today electing someone who runs on this BS? How far left are the demorats going to go?

If I remember right, FDR did what he could to raise taxes on the wealthy and at the time his father was the riches man in the US.

Love for your country has to include making sure the majority are treated equally in 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness'

Otherwise, who's going to protect your wealth and join the Army?

This is one very important reason to have basic human rights for all.

They don't have to join - Last year demonstrates the state of the Nation:

Army misses 2018 recruiting goal, which hasn't happened since 2005

More the majonrity get pushed down where there should have been no question, that policies of basic individuals needs, will always makes a better nation.

The consequences of "why should we' in the wealthy ...

Will become the same answer the majority will feel
when it comes to defend the country.
