That's no the argument. And you're not going to be able to pull that same trick Trump does and define your opponents position for them. What is Trump's actual immigration proposal? Does he have one? How do you account for the fact that since he took office immigration has become a growing crisis, with no plans on his part to address it?
I already addressed that. No more chain migration. No more Diversity Lottery. No more amnesty until Judge rules. DACA folks get path to citizenship. No more "Catch and Release". It was already proposed. Shot down by Dems and a few gutless Repubs.

This is not a #Trumpfluffer thread, this is a thread about the Democratic policies and platform in 2020. you might want to excuse yourself.
So why parrot obama's "circular firing squad" without crediting his quote? Trying to pass it off as your own?

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — The surge of migrant families arriving at the southern border has led the Trump administration to dramatically expand a practice President Donald Trump has long mocked as “catch and release.”

With immigrant processing and holding centers overwhelmed, the administration is busing people hundreds of miles inland and releasing them at Greyhound stations and churches in cities like Albuquerque, San Antonio and Phoenix because towns close to the border already have more than they can handle.

Relief organizations in some cities are struggling to feed and house the migrants and warning that a public health crisis is taking shape, especially with sick infants and children among the many immigrant families who need medical attention.

“We’re asking volunteer doctors and nurses and community members to step up and do what the government should be doing. If this was a hurricane, FEMA would be on the ground helping,” said Jim Gannon, CEO and executive director of Catholic Charities in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Like the polls that said Hillary was going to crush Trump, you mean those polls or different ones?
YOU are the one who brought up polls when you typed: "especially if Trumps numbers are doing as well as they are now." The fact is, right now, "Trump's numbers" are not very good.

So to be clear:

You said Trump's numbers are good.
I pointed out that they're not.

Agreed. That's why I hope Sanders drops out as soon as possible . All he really cares about is influencing the party , shifting it to the left. He's up against primary voters that put beating Trump above agreement on policy . And he can't do that running as a socialist.
I hate to say it but Sanders is going to be the biggest factor for 2020. He is exactly who Trump wants to run against. He has already branded him a nutty socialist who wants open borders and free everything. He also said something the other day that "dems are already killing Bidens chance and are eating their own." If that ends up true, or Biden doesnt run, Trump is going to use that. 2020 is really clear as day, Trump has already released the playbook. Socialism, open borders, reparations, guns and high taxes. Democrats need to push back on all that and instead push healthcare, education and the economy. It should be a slam dunk if they stay on point.
