and that's why consumers of the news have to use their own critical thinking skills. It's no big revelation that CNN is part of the corporate news for profit media. Just like MSNBC and Fox News. It's not big revelation that they ALL spin the news. It's been a part of the modern lexicon for decades to make fun of the news media.
On this we can agree.

Problem is with these "consumers" you refer to.

Some get it ..... and some don't.

Back to the subject. Yes CNN revealed their bias when they wouldn't let on scene reporters from the area tell the truth.
they didn't book any local news stations. That doesn't prove anything. You don't really believe that there's only one station in San Diego that's reporting "the truth" do you? What's this constant narrative with some on the right who are so willing to give up their own critical thinking skills? The ones that broadcast to the world that they have to be told by the media what to think?

that doesn't appear to be the premise behind your OP. It seems based more on allowing the president to tell us which news networks we should trust, or some local news network. It appear to be telling consumers of the news they shouldn't decide for themselves whether what they're watching is credible or not.

This doesn't have anything to do with what the President thinks.

This has to do with CNN be proven, once again, that they are 100% pure FAKE NEWS !!!

you watch CNN? I do. I can tell you that they put their own spin on the news. But, it's completely false to claim that they NEVER report the truth. In fact, one of the most annoying things they do is have partisan political operatives on - from both sides.

and you can prove that by showing where anyone ever called CNN "fake news" before Trump did.
Right?

I love it. The TV station in question PULLED the story and the usual suspects here are still having a hissy fit over CNN.

Reality does not seem to matter to them.
