Palin hasn't always been against end-of-life counseling. As Alaska governor, she signed a proclamation making April 16, 2008, Healthcare Decision Day with the goal to have health care professionals and others participate in a statewide effort to provide clear and consistent information about advance directives.

There are lots of things states can and should do that the federal government should not do. In fact, the constitution states that everything not explicitly assigned to the federal government is up to the states. It's not end of life counseling that's the problem, it's federalism AND end of life counseling combined.

This is the biggest pile of trojan horse shit I've ever seen in my life. This is about scaring old people into supporting the insurance companies quest to force overpriced universal coverage on every citizen of the US, if you can't afford it, the evil federal government will compensate you. Just like Medicare Part D.

That's your real goal.

the goal is to not let the fed have full control of the healthcare industry and ultimately control over American citizens. If you want to give control then volunteer yourself. The logical thing to look at is that a 100% overhaul is not needed when 80% like what they have. Concentrate on the 20% and leave everyone else alone. This is not rocket surgery!

Prove I am a member of the Republican party or a registered Republican or vote a straight Republican ticket or work in the campaign of any Republican candidate.

Don't have to, you prove it with every post.

Even if true so what, that doesn't makes someone a Republican..............your obsession is so childish.

[/quote]

I don't give a rats ass if you are a registered repub or registered at all for that matter. Based on your fucking stupid threads you start every fucking day you ARE a republican. Whether you care to admit it or not is meaningless.

And you actually fall for that line?

Yeah you'll have a "right" to the government controlled and dictated to private insurance, the problem being, there won't be any companies offering it.

You guys seem to think that government can force them to stay in business too. Insurance companies are nothing but private citizens engaged in a business activity, when it becomes unprofitable the citizens will put their money into other ventures and private insurance will go away. THEN whom will you get your insurance from? What good does a "right" to something do you when government makes it impossible for someone to provide the object of the right to you?

If they can't keep costs under control and supply health care coverage without gouging people, then they should go. It's not my problem if they can't make the kind of profits they want without their customers suffering for it.
