Senator Jon Tester?!?? He was that guy that got Donald Trump's hand-picked selection to head the Veterans' Administration turned down, just because he had a drinking problem or something! What a kill-joy!

And he's obviously got some kind of a vendetta against our great and fearless President!

Tell him to shut up already!!

Trump tried his best to get rid of Tester in the last election. Jon is a real Farmer. His voters know that. Unlike Max Baucus.

Once again Mitch McConnell games the system in favor of little Lord Donald.

Sen. Tester is correct. Leave the bills to open the government to the Congress to pass and override.

It's time for Trump to stop hiding behind McConnell's apron skirt.
Mitch is so terrified of all his dirty deeds coming out he is paralyzed.

Him saying,” The Government is shut down, I do-not know why the Senate is shut down,” was one of the worst, self pitying remarks ever since he is responsible for the demise of the Senate. The worst leader, ever! And we had Trent Lott.

At this point, it's really not McConnell gaming anything, the whole government knows what he's doing and it's not particularly creative. He is just the latest example of a Republican politician who has been given a choice between "right, but slightly difficult" and "wrong, but easy ... until tomorrow ... probably not for the future." They choose the latter every time, because tomorrow, surviving today and the next, is all that matters. They don't think about the future.

McConnell is so hopelessly caught up in this, he couldn't even stand by it in person. He skipped town. As a leader and as a man, has been VASTLY overestimated. He achieved some things for his party earlier in his career, out of sheer ruthlessness, but now that everyone's onto him, he's got nothing.
