Socialist Bernie Sanders tells us how he really feels about your hard-earned money

Free college is not a winning message for Bernie. It polls horribly. One of many reasons I felt the Bern in 2016 but no mas.

Mayor Pete and several of the others have a better idea. Free two years of community college or trade school in exchange for a year of national service - Peace Corps, Reserves, Community Service, whatever.

Our country needs that sense of pride and ownership that has gone missing in so many. No better place to begin rebuilding than 18 year old high school grads.

He also made a list of rights that Americans are ‘entitled to’

The right to a decent job that pays a living wage.
The right to quality health care.
The right to a complete education.
The right to affordable housing.
The right to a clean environment.
The right to a secure retirement.
And exactly what is your problem with any of these ^ things? Although I understand he wants free education and most Americans including I do not agree, everyone has "the right" to access these things.

Why do you hate the idea of the right to living wage, quality health care, affordable housing and ESPECIALLY why do you hate the idea of the right to a clean environment? :confused:

It may poll badly, but I came to believe it a necessity long before I had heard anything from Bernie.

While I am for universal education (not necessary college/university), this would be a good start and I would vote for it. Vote for Ian Jeffrey in 2020! :D

Aside from the fact that nothing in this list is relevant:

Bernie Sanders Donald Trump:

Has never held a job that created value or paid a "living wage;
Has never provided any kind of healthcare to anyone;
Is not qualified to teach anything;
Owns three homes, none "affordable" to normal Americans;
Has a secure retirement you can't get.
That's ^ gonna leave a mark. Well played! :)

Yes, the "Donald Trump Formula to Success" - Inherit nearly half a billion in todays dollars from your Daddy. Blow that money on multiple failed companies - Get bailed out on many others by Daddy Fred - Declare bankruptcy six times - Cheat on your taxes and hide them from the American people at all costs - Hang out with Mobsters - Grift - Grift - GRIFT

Yeah, anybody can achieve those things. Assuming one is an unethical, criminal grifter born with a golden spoon firmly implanted. :rolleyes:

I agree with the right to a clean environment. Perhaps Bernie should campaign in San Fran or Seattle on the homeless ... Dems in charge of these rat infested cities.

It would be virtually impossible for Sanders, Warren or any of the other taxpayer-dollar spendaholics running for the Democrat nomination to put a serious price tag on all of the socialist proposals they have put forth.

As a result, “so what” is all they can muster.

I would agree with your idea but unfortunately the drop out rate is going to skew that whole premise.

The dropout rate ... from high school? If you're going to make a point, please make it a good one. ;)

Or perhaps Bernie could oversee Donald and Jared's rat infested properties? :)
