Nuts. Simply nuts. Solar power is being adopted all over the world, at breakneck speed. You don't even understand exponential growth, clearly.

You've jumped through the rabbit hole, are now in Wonderland, and there is probably no retrieving you back to reality.

End all the senseless subsidies for fossil fuels, and solar power would be getting adopted at an even more furious rate.

I remember when he had a gasoline "crisis" and the big three auto companies balked at the idea of manufacturing smaller, more fuel efficient cars. So people started buying Japanese and German cars. Eventually, after they almost went broke (cue Lee Iacocca and Chrysler and that big controversial loan) the auto industry woke up, but it was too late to get a lot of folks back because once they started buying Datsuns, Volkswagens and Toyotas, they couldn't see going back to American cars.

This same stubborn old man mentality is fucking us up with renewable energy as well. Coal fired power plants are closing here but Trump is still determined to champion it, fossil fuel demand is going down worldwide and Trump thinks the thing to invest in is LNG and coal and hey, let's open ANWAR up for drilling and export this stuff!

I'll bet these were the same guys who didn't invest in Microsoft when they had the chance because they couldn't see why anyone would want a personal computer.

I hope our next president removes all tax breaks for wealthy people and if they want them back, they can get them by investing in green energy and make Sheldon Adelson convert his casinos over to renewables also.
In late 1979, the then-CEO of Digital Equipment Corporation, a man by the name of Ken Olsen, said that "there is no reason for anyone to have a computer in their home."

It is that kind of lack of vision that stops some of these posters here from seeing the solar power revolution that is underway in the world.

Digital Equipment Corporation no longer exists...………………...…....

Does the USA produce oil? Does the USA export oil? That makes the USA an oil PRODUCING and EXPORTING country. Cartel member or not. Once again ,logic prevails.
America is not a member of OPEC. This is a FACT that is having a very hard time penetrating the lead shielding you have constructed around your brain.

Russia is ALSO a major producer and exporter of petroleum, and they are ALSO not a member of OPEC.

OPEC = Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. You could have learned that very easily if you had only clicked on the link I gave you.

And it is an ORGANIZATION. The United States does not belong to that organization, and neither does Russia, even though both America and Russia produce and export oil. There are also other countries which produce and export oil, but are NOT members of OPEC.

The link I gave you provided you with the LIST of the 14 countries that DO belong to OPEC. A shame you don't take advantage of such links to educate yourself.
