Strict US anti-abortion laws forced a woman to give birth to a baby without a skull

A few days later she returns. She is having a miscarriage, and after it is born, the mother cannot bring herself to hold her child. Moments later, the severely deformed infant died.
"Some of the nurses need you to fix it, to save this baby with the magic of medicine," the essay continues.
"You remind them that he is very premature, that he has no brain, that he cannot survive. This is not an ambiguous diagnosis."
With no standard treatment or cure, the hospital staff, who are used to doing everything they can to save a life, understandably feel helpless. Watching them grieve, the doctor recalls all the other women who have had their wishes "warped by politics."
All y'all are heartless. Absolutely self-centered, egotistical assholes. Heartless.

How is this okay. This? This is TORTURE.

So a person who doesn't even speak English (probably an illegal immigrant) and also who doesn't ever see a doctor until right before the birth is complaining she couldn't have an abortion?

The abortion could have easily happened had this person actually gone to a doctor earlier instead of at the last minute.

More Fake News.

Where does the article say she only went to a doctor at "the last minute?" You DO know, don't you, that a miscarriage can occur at just about any point in the pregnacy.

It states she saw a doctor for the first time then gave birth a few days later.

They could have found this out long before the third trimester and aborted it then.

Getting a last second abortion is a very hard thing to do unless its her life or the babies.

This problem is on her, not the law.

The article also states she never saw a doctor because of "special circumstances" but doesn't tell us what those circumstances were.

I wonder why?

No, it says she was having a miscarriage. She went home, still pregnant, AFTER a doctor told her she could not get an abortion in that state

And doesn't even seem to be a result of this law.

Not at that time no.

She shouldn't have waited so long to see a doctor.

No state currently outlaws abortion, they can't, its federal law.

You better explain that to a number of states.
But, not to worry, these heavy restrictions will only impact poor or working class women who have to rely on facilities such as Planned Parenthood. The well off can simply fly or drive to any state thart has laws more to their advantage. So, no one important will be impacted. Right?

'A person who doesn't even speak English!' Gott in Himmel ... Quelle horreur ... Calma!

I am well behind my continental European friends, insofar as I only speak English, a little German, a smattering of Italian, and even less French. How about you - I am sure you are far more multilingual than that. :)
