The shots in a modest bikini brought her school and profession into disrepute, she was told by her superiors.
They acted after angry parents protested at images of her in the style of an American 1950s pin-up.
Omsk city hall said that she had caused 'irreversible damage to the reputation of the teacher.
‘By spreading frivolous images on the internet in order to promote a commercial project she also hurt the image of the school.'
She had broken a code of conduct at Omsk school number 7 which ‘supports morals and ethics’.

The head of Omsk modelling Agency Plus Size Ekaterina Bredova said she was unaware Viktoria was a teacher, and could not predict the reaction her pictures would produce with the school authorities. Pictures: Ekaterina Bredova
Viktoria hit back saying: ‘I do not understand why I am getting the blame. I wasn't posing in underwear or stockings.
‘I said to them: "Don't you know about about American 1950s pin up style?
‘I’m sorry but this was not promoting some men’s saloon.
'People do take pictures nowadays.
‘They pose on holidays and post pictures online. This was just an advert for a shop.’
Viktoria was speaking to news agency NGS Omsk which has now offered her a job.
‘We promise her salary will be higher than she was paid as a teacher,' said the agency. ‘Our company - unlike school number 7 - stands for bright and daring people, and respects their hobbies.’
In fact, Viktoria has not intended her pictures to be used by the model agency, which also did not realise she was a teacher.
'When I signed the contract with the model agency, I didn't realise the fact that pictures can be used and uploaded online,’ she said.
‘I went to them not to become a model, but to lift my self-esteem. And I didn't plan to share the pictures online.
‘I just wanted them to be stored in my album.’
She had not intended her personal life to become public, she said.
Viktoria's dismissal caused outrage on social media, according to local reports.

Not by far the first such case.
Last year, for example, Yulia Ryvkina, a 25 year old gym teacher

and (beloved, to her girls) coach of her school's cheer-leading squad, which she herself alparently founded

was fired after some parents found her night club and such photos on social media (because partying while off duty, like most people her age, is damn near a crime in her profession...)

I think she eventually got her job back, after other parents, especially those of her cheer squad, stepped in to defend her...
Most teachers in these situations don't get so lucky though. Very easy to lose your job there. Questionable photos online, or any other hint of impropriety, and you're done. Russian teachers live by an insane moral code...
Don't get me wrong, there have been well deserved cases, such as the music teacher in Tver, I think, who posted underwear and even nude pics of herself in her classroom (after hours lol) on a dating site. Or the kindergarten nanny in Kaliningrad, who led a secret double life as a porno model and high end prostitute lmao Only in Russia...
But, who knows how many innocent women lost their jobs this way... Some - simply for being who they are. There are, for example, vigilante groups there who work to expose teachers they suspect of being gay, and get them fired. Etc...
It's all crazy IMHO
