As President, Donald Trump is the head of the Republican Party.

But it would appear that his own party is now deserting him in droves.

P.S. Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado is another.....

I know they see him as little more than a big, orange rubber stamp, but how long can the congressional Republicans continue to support this douchebag?

Maybe they're finally starting to turn?

I noticed the news; Trump supposedly considers Bannon the "source of the leaks",,,hmmm, maybe there's another "board room shake up" about to occur.

A back handed way to get rid of Bannon, who looks like he's about to melt anyway, (after the stand off with McMaster, a fight he'll never, ever, win) but what about Stephen Miller?

I think there's a bit of trouble in toyland, and maybe the Repubs don't want to "leave the dance with who brung em"

That,,,, would be DELICIOUS!!!!!

I think so. This may be the straw that broke the camel's back. So to speak. Donald Trump is behaving as a quasi-Fascist President. A LOT of Republicans are NOT going to want to follow him there....

That is an odd thing for Cruz to state considering his background. The horrible act was murder, not terrorism, and would be a labored prosecution under 18 U.S. Code § 2331 that would likely end up with the accused skating on the federal charge. The perp should be prosecuted to the full extent of the applicable state laws to ensure a conviction.

Not really, if intent is shown he crossed state lines to commit this act, then it's a federal crime, that's clear, that's why the FBI is involved and investigating, his own mother spilled the beans.

He won't skate, this is one time;

Justice will be served on a domestic terrorist.

Crossing state lines to commit a crime is not an act of terrorism. It is highly unlikely that he conceived the idea of crossing a state line to drive into a crowd, which is relevant to a degree, but still not an act of terrorism. Without all the details, it seems to be a degree of a state homicide.

Define "terrorism."

Riiight. It's only terrorism if a brown person does it.
