We analyzed data for 50 states over 19 years to investigate the relationship between gun prevalence and accidental gun deaths across different age groups. For every age group, where there are more guns, there are more accidental deaths. The mortality rate was 7 times higher in the four states with the most guns compared to the four states with the fewest guns.
That's just accidents. Go look up the data about most people being killed by people they know.

It is often interpreted to imply that a gun in the home is most likely to kill a resident of that home which is untrue.
The fact is that most murderers know their victims but that does not mean they reside with said victims. Even a thug performing a drive by usually knows who he is shooting at.
More guns equals less crime and gun death which is a proven fact,.
