... with the Senators taking an oath to be impartial, so help them God. It starts today. Will McTurtle and Leningrad Lindsey perjure themselves?

Sometime after that, the Senate will move to take up the articles, notifying the House and Chief Justice John Roberts of the time that will occur. Roberts will then cross First Street from the Supreme Court building over to the Capitol, and be escorted into the chamber by the Senate president pro tempore, the most senior member of the majority, Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

Grassley will swear in Roberts to be the presiding officer during the trial, and Roberts will then swear in the 100 Senators to act as jurors.

Senate rules say the president is then summoned and given a chance to respond. President Trump will be primarily represented by two attorneys, White House counsel Pat Cipollone and Jay Sekulow, a private attorney who represented Trump in the Russia investigation. ... more @ link below

Quote the oath the senators will be taking please?
Gladly. It's found on p. 6 of 7 of standing Senate Rules of Impeachment - 1986, specifically rule #25 about impartiality.

"I solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be) that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of ______ _____, now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: So help me God.''

You think Saunders and Warren will be impartial in this trial? They both have an axe to grind, they want to replace him.

In todays news!! Trump is screwed. The GOP cant be allowed to cover this up!

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration violated the law in withholding security assistance aid to Ukraine, a nonpartisan federal watchdog agency said on Thursday, weighing in on a decision by President Trump that is at the heart of the impeachment case against him.

The Government Accountability Office said the White House’s Office of Management and Budget violated the Impoundment Control Act when it withheld nearly $400 million for “a policy reason,” even though the funds had been allocated by Congress.
It gets worse!

MOSCOW — The police in Ukraine have opened a criminal investigation into whether allies of President Trump had the United States ambassador to the country under surveillance while she was stationed in Kyiv, the Ukrainian government said on Thursday.

The move was a remarkable departure from past practice for the government, which has studiously tried to avoid making moves that could make a political splash in Washington.
Lets see who will make excuses now , or cry fake news

That's not the oath.

Unless you get what you want, you the PH left, the democrats and the US media will say the acquittal of the president was not impartial.
