Any reasonably informed citizen has to be snickering a bit as Democrats march out these days to try and declare themselves “fiscally responsible” as a reason they are opposed to $5 billion or so dollars going toward further enhancing security on the southern border. This is the same party that oversaw a DOUBLING of the multi-TRILLION dollar national debt, who hasn’t met a donor-funded cocktail party they didn’t like, and who at this very moment are happily funding utter nonsense to the tune of billions and billions of dollars as this list by
Grabien.com so clearly outlines:

It's funny to watch the left have a hissy fit over the debt, when Obama doubled it, they could care less.
On the other hand the right wing wacko's had a hissy fit over the debt Obama was accumulating. The problem there is Obama was handed two wars and a failing economy that nearly brought this country down financially.

What is on solid ground, is the economy is doing well. But, of course the left wants to credit Obama for that. The left are clueless -- but, funny.
The stock market is erratic and shaky because Trump is.

Obama tripled the stock market. Let us know when President Baby Huey does that. The economy wouldn't be where it is without Obama.

The 5 billion is just for one year. The stupid, useless wall will cost billions s more and wreck the natural habitat, but you keep pretending you’re part of the party of fiscal responsibility

Maybe. Maybe not, but to make the argument that the wall won't work hasn't been proven. In fact, border agents, the people who are on the border and really do know what is going on, say the wall will work.

It appears the really stupid people are those who disagree with the border control agents. If anybody ought to know if walls work, it's them. But, as usual, leftists who hate Trump, seem to think they know what is best for the country. As usual, they are clueless.

When you look at the trillions of dollars spent on projects that go down a shit-hole, and you want us to believe that $5 billion is going to bankrupt us?? Really???
The original 2006 act provided for "at least two layers of reinforced fencing" to be built. However, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) successfully argued to Congress "that different border terrains required different types of fencing, that a one-size-fits-all approach across the entire border didn't make sense."

I don't think anybody who wants the wall says it has to be uniform. In fact, in some rough terrain, a wall is not needed.

I leave it to the experts to decide what will work, but there is no question that barriers, or whatever you want to call it, work.

That's not what Trump promised in his campaign, and that's not what he shuts down the government over. That is over a solid 2000 mile uniform wall that he promised on his campaign, and that Anne Coulter told him he has to build now.

Investments into useful border security has never been questioned by anyone, has been appropriated and financed in the past, and in the presence, and is permanently built and worked on. Trump's toddler tantrum is over a solid, uniform, stupid, useless border wall.

Like I said, when Trump triples the stock market, let us know. But for now let's call it a draw. I can post shit just like you all day long.

Who Gets Credit for Economy, Obama or Trump?

While economic growth has been faster during Mr. Trump’s first 21 months in office than it was during Mr. Obama’s eight years, federal debt is growing faster now than it was during Mr. Obama’s second term. Mr. Obama, meantime, presided over faster overall growth in payroll jobs during his second term, but growth in manufacturing payrolls under Mr. Trump is faster than during Mr. Obama’s two terms. And while the stock market has rallied under Mr. Trump, it hasn’t measured up to the rebound during Mr. Obama’s first term from lows in the financial crisis
No comparison is perfect. Mr. Obama came to office during a deep recession and financial crisis. Mr. Trump came into office during a long run of steady but historically slow economic growth. Mr. Obama had an eight-year record, while Mr. Trump’s is just 21 months. And no president deserves full credit or blame for an economy influenced by many factors beyond Washington’s reach.
I don't think we've hit the bottom yet in the Trump Stock Market. I don't and wouldn't have more than 20% of my portfolio allocated in stocks. Don't trust him, do you??????
