This explains a lot and not just about racial concerns...but the whole neo republican

mindset in this day and age where my only thought for years has been how can anyone turn things so inside out, when it comes to so many things, including religion, economics, politics and moral or general values.

It's as if (and I have mentioned this many times) so many things that have always been considered sins, are now considered "virtues" by a segment of our population and so many things that were considered virtues that are now considered "sins".........

Take charity and loving, not just one's own "kind"........those who do so are considered by this neo cult of being "bleeding hearts" or "politically correct".......

Consider the people that spend their time condemning homosexuality and abortion, while at the same time, electing and supporting a greedy, gluttonous, lying, narcissistic adulterer, to "lead" their nation and as someone who is supposed to "care" about "working class" people. A person whose life track record is filled mostly with screwing people, many of them working class people......others, women that are NOT the woman he was currently married to at the time.

What kind of backwards, upside down "world" is that?

The following describes on one segment of the whole other world that seems to exist as a segment of the population in America. Quite amazing that in 2017, there could be such a population of people in the United States, so totally out of touch with reality, BUT with the rise of "reality TV" and the internet, with no controls over the truthfulness of content, one can see how easy it would be to spread propaganda, especially to those who are not going to do any checking to see if there is any relationship to what they are reading/hearing and the truth. Take the clickbait ads that fill the bottom or side columns of just about any website (this one included) nowadays. They are all "sensationalized" headlines, intended to get you to click on the link to their website. Often the stories they use are like the "National Enquirer" headlines....."Movie Star _______ has baby by space alien father..." They are political (Should Hillary Clinton be jailed?....Should Trump be impeached?.....etc.etc.), they are ALL about revenue making for websites and about the ability of any website to accumulate "hits" so they can then get advertising sponsors to pay for their pages.

What's amazing to me is that what once were fairly legitimate ads to sell legitimate merchandise or present legitimate ideas, have been replaced (online if not elsewhere) by these hoards of clickbait ads making so many media websites and websites like this, look like what were once considered "trash rags" that were full of gossip (not facts) and sensationalism, that few people, if any, took seriously, BUT obviously, the "National Enquirer" has endured, perhaps surviving based on a mix of morbid or curiosity killed the cat type of human inquisitiveness toward "juicy" looking stuff instead of the more mundane and not so "entertaining" or "odd" factual history of the world or the many times, hard to comprehend explanations of science and other less "enticing" reads. Who wants to learn about history and science when they can be watching "Dancing with the Stars", "The Apprentice" "Duck Dynasty" "Entertainment Tonight" "EXTRA" "Keeping up with the Kardashians"??????
Sadly, for a segment of the American population, there seems to be an adoption of "reality" TV into their whole being and culture.....and some of the same fall into other "cultures" that occupy their time away from reality and obtaining knowledge that is fact based, not politically based, attached to things like religion, to make it sound AOK and "legitimate".

An ethic of reciprocity requires the critical thought of all people who would apply it, to think about and test what they do or are about to do to others, on themselves, first. If they would not like it done to them, then the suggestion or perhaps the fact is, that others are LIKE them and would not like it done unto them, anymore than those doing it unto them would. The "Golden Rule", one such ethic of reciprocity, is fitting to most of the Book of Matthew, especially Chapter 5, in the Bible and where Christ was said to have said, that loving only one's brethren, is no good, one must love all as they would love themselves, because God created all people.

It seems not just quite ironic how many people that claim to be "Christian", either fail to grasp what is straight forward, ignore it or choose to believe something that is more akin to the total opposite, because it is attached to something that looks/sounds personally (not Christ taught) appealing to them, like a political or cultural ideology that divides humans based on parties and things like race and culture.

"As soon as Theo Wilson started making YouTube videos about culture and race, trolls using racial slurs started flocking to his page."

"After engaging in endless sparring matches in the comments section, Wilson began to notice something curious: His trolls seemed to speak a language unto themselves, one replete with the same twisted facts and false history. It was as if they had all passed through some "dimensional doorway," arriving from an alternative universe where history, politics and commonly accepted facts had been turned inside out."

"There was the idea that slavery was a form of charity that benefited enslaved Africans; that freed blacks owned more slaves than whites before the Civil War; that people of color make up the majority of those receiving aid from America's safety-net programs; and that investor and philanthropist George Soros is funding protest movements like Black Lives Matter."

"Curious about where his trolls were getting their revisionist history lessons, Wilson, 36, - an award-winning poet and actor from Denver - decided to go undercover in their world. In 2015, he started by creating a ghost profile named "Lucious25," a digital white supremacist who appeared to be an indigenous member of the alt-right's online echo chamber, he said."

"His avatar was John Carter, the Confederate hero of Edgar Rice Burroughs's science fiction series about death-defying adventures on Mars."

"Within a few weeks Wilson's alternate identity was questioning President Barack Obama's birthplace, railing against Black Lives Matter and bemoaning people he called "race-baiters," such as Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. After several months, he was a disaffected fixture on alt-right websites that draw white supremacists -- such as Infowars and American Renaissance -- and in the comments section of racist YouTube videos."

It seems tragic and sad that so many people had to lose their lives, less than 75 years ago for the world to wake up to the dangers of such lures away from reality and the pushing of divisions along religious and cultural lines.......It is amazing how many people had to die, to come to that reality and to mostly extinguish the "teachings" that led to those deaths.

Here we are less than 100 years later, with the rise of those who never seem to have cracked a history book or never listened to their veteran relatives or their survivors who fought and died fighting those who took on such memes as whole segments of human beings are not really human beings on an equal level and therefore need to be eliminated from existence or made submissive and a sub-species to WASP homo-sapiens.....

The odd thing is, if all humans truly applied the ethic of reciprocity and Christians actually practiced their "Golden Rule" as one such example of an ethic of reciprocity with regard to doing unto others, what we want others to do unto us and what they means when we treat others like crap or as less than human or our inferiors, then the world might actually be a better place. Unfortunately they seem to be listening to "preachers" who tell them, in spite of what Matthew Chapter 5 tells them, that only SOME humans are worthy of being considered human, much less children or the creation of God. The neo "Golden Rule" seems to be, "What's in it for me?" .......apparently ignoring what the Books of the Bible also say about greed and vanity, much less a whole host of other "sins" that some so called "Christians" seem to think are the new "virtues" and behave as such.

This is NOT an attack on Christianity, it is pointing out how some who claim to be Christians, do not follow what they claim to believe in and it is NOT just non-Christians pointing this out.....

The sad thing is that history seems to indicate that those who followed skewed realities rarely wake up to them, without some great calamity occurring that wakes them up to it. It took WWII and millions of people killed to wake the world up for a while, even though some still carried in the "flame" that fueled that great hell on earth...and have fueled smaller ones, since.

Will we learn from history or will we just keep repeating the same old, same old hatred of one another based on greed and fear?

Anyone who studies history knows you can't eliminate hatred.

It will always be here.

The best you can do is control it.

Perhaps some day when we can leave the planet and start somewhere else we might have a chance but not here.

By the way, this undercover thing was done a long time ago.

Worth a read if you haven't had the chance yet.
