Trump Lashes Out at CNN Reporter, Who Snaps Back: 'Haven't You Spread a Lot of Fake News Yourself, Sir?' - WATCH - Towleroad
by Andy Towle

"Following a press conference today at which he signed a memorandum launching an investigation into Chinese trade, CNN’s Jim Acosta grilled Donald Trump as he left the room, asking why it took him so long to condemn the hate groups behind the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville over the weekend."
“It doesn’t bother me at all, but you know I like real news, not fake news, ” Trump snapped, pointing at Acosta. “You’re fake news.”
"As Trump walked out, Acosta yelled, “Haven’t you spread a lot of fake news yourself, sir?”

it's about time. That's what they all need to start doing when ever PrimaDonald or one of his "twits" pulls that crap.
Excellent thinking! You got it! :)
And I sure like "PrimaDonald"! That is great to start using! He's so earned it! :)

The president retweeted a PizzaGate conspiracy theorist about two hours ago to make the argument that he's being treated unfairly.

So yeah, Acosta has a point.

Id rather not see newscaster having confrontations with the President. Donald Trump may not deserve the respect of the office...but the office does.

We can not devolve into cretins because the commander in chief is a POS.

Acosta can say what ever he wants in an a report or an interview with an anchor or how ever he wants to make his point...but not in a shouting match with the President.

"We salute the rank...not the man."

Too bad others on the left aren't as adult as you are.

Remember how outraged the left got about this but now they encourage it.

The first person to misbehave in the conversation was Trump.

"Q. Mr. President, Why are you just delivering this statement now?"

Entirely appropriate, fully regular to ask such a question as he leaves the room following a public statement.

Trump chose to respond with the equivalent of "Shut up, fake news," thereby establishing that there was no standard of decorum present in that room. Even if he he had not, there have been thousands of such instances at the White House.

A formal address to Congress is a completely different environment. The President is there as an honored guest of the legislative branch, and is meant to enjoy their respect and full, uninterrupted attention.
