Trump links rise in UK crimes to 'radical Islamic terror' without evidence

In my mind
Not letting facts stand in the way of a good tweet, our president cites radical.islmic terrorism as the cause of a rise in crime in Great Britain.

But there appears to be no connection.

Why tweet such nonsense, other than a seemingly pathological need to tweet made up crap? Is the president out of things to do? Or is his hatred and bigotry so ingrained that he will link the unrelated?

Donald Trump links rise in UK crime to 'radical Islamic terror' - Business Insider

President Donald Trump tweeted about a rise in crime in the UK on Friday and made a shaky connection to "radical Islamic terror."

Trump tweeted that "United Kingdom crime rises 13% annually amid spread of Radical Islamic terror," adding that "we must keep America safe."

The UK's Office for National Statistics on Thursday published a report detailing a 13% increase in crime recorded by the police over the 12 months ended in June as well as a 9 percent decrease in crime over the same period reported in an annual survey of 35,000 residents of England and Wales

Someone tracked down where "his" link came from. How reputable is "One America News", and is it as neo-nazi as it sounds?
One of the president’s favorite outlets, OAN is described as “a tiny, father-and-sons operation that promises ‘straight news, no opinion,’ promoting itself as the antidote to the Big Three cable news networks’ focus on punditry and the one big story of the moment.”

But a number of current and former OAN staffers believe the “no opinion” part of the slogan is bogus.

“According to internal emails, Herring has directed his channel to push Trump’s candidacy, scuttle stories about police shootings, encourage antiabortion stories, minimize coverage of Russian aggression, and steer away from the new president’s troubles, according to more than a dozen current and former producers, writers and anchors, as well as internal emails from Herring and his top news executives.”

One former OAN producer says that Herring has become “the de facto news director…He has a ton of influence over every aspect of the newscast. He has stories written on his whim.”

“We started out with the premise of news straight down the middle,” added*Cassie Leuffen, an anchor at OAN from launch*through the 2016 election. “But the bias does reveal itself in the story selection. The owner really felt this was what was needed. He saw the popularity of Trump before almost anybody, and Trump became our bread and butter.”

I'd say the network is not reputable at all.

Trump is pissed that his much-vaunted Muslim ban has been stalled yet again by a judge. This blurring to two unrelated issues gets his base riled up while trashing an ally too weak to hit back.
Our Conservative government desperately needs "deals" if Brexit ever actually happens. The Bombardier aircraft company at the centre of last week's furore of the day, though Canadian, also has a major branch in Northern Ireland building the wings, which is now at direct risk of closure with not a peep from May.

That's an understatement.

It fact it's "fake" news that he bitches about all the time.

Truly what a moron.

But he does the same with Fox News

Only a couple Trump tweets from this morning, but two seem to correspond with F&F segments. First, the ones closest in time to his tweets:

Left, Fox & Friends 7:02 am
Right, Trump, 7:17 am

So as POTUS - he get's his "talking" points from conservative news outlets?

Jesus Christ....
