Telling reporters that he’ll “probably” go ahead with plans to hold a MAGA rally in Erie, PA. Trump claimed he didn’t want to cancel the event because, gosh darn it, so many people were already in line.

“I don’t want to disappoint people,” Trump said. “So, we’ll probably go because what are you going to do? Tell thousands of people who’ve been waiting there all night that we’re not coming? That’s not fair either.”

he claims that it would be very "unfair" to the thousands of people who want to see him.
Yeah. That's what's most important. What does it say about his supporters that Trump doesn't think they'd understand him cancelling a political rally because of a national disaster? What does it say about the man himself? How would they feel if it were them struggling through a crisis while the president went on about his business?

What a fucking ugly peacock
they're literaly showing hurricane winds ripping roofs off. It the most powerful hurricane since 1992. But, he thinks the most important thing is not disappointing his adoring fans. We already saw the unpredictable nature of this storm. He has no idea what he can do to help. I hope they show a split screen of the hurricane damage while he's at a rally celebrating himself.

Rick Scott just requested the president issue a declaration of emergency. Get this. He said he spoke to the president earlier. This was separate from his latest request.

If only there was a way Trump could make that declaration anywhere but the White House.....

at least one reported death. It's down to a cat 3 -115 mph still going strong in Albany, Georgia.
But hey, we shouldn't be petty by criticizing a president who cares more about one of his weekly political rallies than people dying and suffering in a national disaster. His precious wittle ego is the most important thing.
