Trump urges Roy Moore not to run for Senate again despite having 'nothing against' him
Moore tweeted Tuesday that he "will beat" Democratic Sen. Doug Jones, who defeated the former Alabama Supreme Court chief justice in a 2017 special election.

"President Donald Trump made clear Wednesday morning he does not want former Alabama state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore to make another Senate run."
"On Tuesday, Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., responded to Moore's comment signaling a possible bid for the seat, blasting the former judge for contemplating a run."
"You’re literally the only candidate who could lose a GOP seat in pro-Trump, pro-USA ALABAMA," Trump Jr. tweeted, adding, "If you actually care about #MAGA more than your own ego, it's time to ride off into the sunset, Judge."

With Trump being against Moore running again for the Senate it's literally over for Moore. Now Trump Jr. has also chimed in urging him not to run as well. Therefore, the Trumps are not backing him or supporting him in another Senate bid and Moore needs to forget running in the race against Senator Doug Jones in Alabama as it would be a losing battle.

Get someone to tell Roy that there's some hot young nookie just over the horizon, and he will happily ride off into the sunset.

I read he 'had no problem' with him running.

We didn't know it at the time, but Roy Moore may have been the first guy to get Kavanaughed. That being said, there are other Conservative candidates without the baggage and controversy that will stand up for unborn babies and stand against the LGBTQ agenda.

Why go all that way over the horizon when he can simply head over to the local mall? :nerd:

No doubt poor right-wingers still trying to have people believe that Trump fully supports him. But the latest news does not reflect that at all. In fact, as you can see, it says just the opposite of Trump offering his support. Time for Moore to hang it up.

Yeah they're increasingly worried that Moore has a base of support within the Alabama GOP that will nominate him just to spite the national GOP for turning on him in 2017.

But Trump endorsed Luther Strange in 2017, and Moore won the nomination anyway. So we'll see.

Yeah, he may have won the nomination but then he got royally creamed in the actual election by Democrat Doug Jones so indeed it's about time he should have learned to just let it go and hang it up. When you're a Republican and you don't have Trump's backing in a major election it's a very steep hill to climb.

No, that isn't the case, here. I agree about Kavanagh, but More was absolutely guilty.

You're bashing your head against a brick wall. It is now firmly established in the minds of all Trumpkins that the president's opponents consider false accusations of sexual misconduct to be a legitimate political tool. Fox News has deeply seeded this notion into its messaging. It is effectively GOP gospel these days.
