That's up to the IG, and if Trump continues to pressure for the WB to be exposed and punished while the WB's status is affirmed by the appropriate officials, HE is violating the law and he will eventually answer for it. It is not Trump's decision. The law is explicitly set up to keep the president from doing what he is attempting to do.The transcript proves the whistleblower is not a whistleblower but, instead a leaker with some serioius conflicts of interest.
They will not remain anonymous long.
The claim of protected whistleblower status is bogus and will not continue to stand.
At great risk to his future tenure, the acting DNI testified under oath that he believes the WB has done everything appropriately. You can't get around that.
