You are suggesting a CIA agent attached to a prestigious detail in the white house was something as entry level as a campaign worker, as recently as 3 years ago?

lmao

You really should read your thoughts and think twice before hitting post.
I am not suggesting it.

IG Micheal Atkinson stated it in last Friday's impeachment inquiry interview.

You have a link? All I see is that the lead attorney donated $100 to Biden.
The lead attorney is the same attorney that Mr. (the Intel officials 'have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you) Chuck Schumer uses and the same attorney that Hillary Clinton uses.

Nothing conflicting or coincidental about that, right?

And, I did post a link to AG Atkinson stating the Leaker has Professional ties to one of the 2020 Candidates in comment #4.

One does not "expose" a whistleblower. That is against the law and endangers his or her life. We're a country of LAWS .. Tell the Dotard to follow them!

Agree except the revelation that the original whistleblower had ties to a 2020 democratic candidate certainly does change things a bit. Doesnt invalidate any testimony but puts a bit of bumble in the way as it gives Trump the talking point that his campaign was infiltrated. As I said earlier, imagine if a Trump supporter was working inside a Warren campaign, would anyone find them credible?

As you note, regardless of ulterior motives, it doesn't invalidate the content of the claims by the "whistle blower". (or whatever label applies in this case.)

But the reality is that we are in a political circus. Neither party/tribe is acting out of righteousness or altruism. The calculated goals of both parties are simply "winning and power".

Unfortunately for the GOP, they have a political klutz/egomaniac in the person of Trump as their focal point. His tweets and quotes are the gift that keeps on giving for his adversaries.

This is more or less correct. Nobody has clean hands here. But Trump had a chance to finish his first term with major criminal investigations behind him.

And then he decided, not two days after Mueller's testimony, to drop Joe Biden's name in a highly suspicious context to a foreign head of state. With 10 people listening in.

We know the GOP is tired of dealing with him. They're just too afraid of the consequences of getting rid of him.

The transcript does.

It's not about winninng.

This is a Soft Coup.

I don't agree with that assessment.

Trump's tweets expose the LIE of the fake news MSM.

It’s the same game the Democrats played with the Mueller report. We won’t know what Mueller is going to charge Trump with, but it will be really bad. Then Mueller comes out with his report and nothing Trump did was bad. Liberals are wiping the mud off their faces, and cant accept the fact they were wrong. What do they do? They have a secret whistleblower that no one knows about, but we have all be told what Trump did is really bad. Corroboration , nope, nothing nada. Let the impeachment proceedings begin without convincing anyone of the facts. Its a big joke

Yeah again you're going to straight up ignore this fact just like all others you ignore, but for the benefit of everyone else:

The whistleblower statute and the impeachment process cannot be described as a coup in any context, and to do is irresponsible.

A coup is an illegal, really extralegal attempt to change not just the government, but the governing structure.

Examples would include a military takeover, suspension of certain laws or rights, or other acts that are unauthorized by the Constitution.

Congress is directly empowered to investigate and, if it so desires, impeach the president for any reason. It is an unchecked power.

An improper impeachment is certainly a thing, and that's why 1/3 + 1 of Senators can block it, to prevent that from succeeding.

But it's not a coup.
