Seems Kirstjen Nielsen quit because trump wanted her to reinstate immigrant family separations.

President Donald Trump has for months urged his administration to reinstate large-scale separation of migrant families crossing the border, according to three U.S. officials with knowledge of meetings at the White House.

Trump's outgoing Homeland Security secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, resisted — setting her at odds with the president.

We've already established that the real world is what people in your parallel universe call the "Alt Left." It's OK to give a place a different name. What we call "Germany," for example, others call "Alemania," but it's still the same place. From now on, we'll all know that when you refer to "Alt Left," you mean "real world."

Another lie to deny he said, or try to show was true:

Donald Trump falsely says there's 'never' been so many border apprehensions

"Whether it’s steel or concrete, you don't care. We need a barrier, and they have done a fantastic job," Trump said Jan. 10. "Never so many apprehensions ever in our history."

That was kind of like two whoppers for the price of one no?

President Donald Trump said people from the Middle East and all over the world were coming through the southern border and that a barrier is needed to prevent them from coming in.

AP FACT CHECK: Trump implies terrorists mixed with migrants

Or maybe even three ... Prayer rugs?

It's difficult to come up to Trump's whopper count without doubling up from time to time.

The trump administration is working on a new plan that allows parents to choose separation, or remain with their children.

The “binary choice” policy, as it’s being referred to in internal discussions, aims to deter illegal immigration by presenting migrant parents who are caught crossing the border illegally with a stark option: They can remain detained with their children indefinitely while they await a final removal order, or they can release their children into a separate government shelter where other relatives could take custody of them.

Top aides appear to contradict Trump on family separation
Isnt that nice?

I've read that trump has encouraged illegal immigration with his threats. The word is, if you want to immigrate to the US, you better do it now.

Sure is better than wrapping them in foil and putting them in cages like B. Hussein did.

How long were they housed in cages?

What would you have done with unaccompanied children?

These minors were detained in a jail-like setting until they could be placed with a parent, family member, or other sponsor living in the U.S. They stayed with those caregivers until the end of their immigration proceedings, which would decide whether they could stay permanently or be deported.

Under Obama, most of these detentions were short-term before the unaccompanied minors were released to a caregiver.

There isn’t a clean answer for average detention time, but in federal filings in the Flores settlement case, the government said that for residents booked into family residential facilities during a stretch between October 2015 and May 2016 the average length of stay was 11.8 days. (The Flores settlement was a January 1997 court agreement between advocates for unaccompanied minors detained by immigration authorities and the Justice Department. The agreement determined immigrant children must be held in the "least restrictive setting.")

Though Politifact is one of them fact checkers you reject, it does link to primary sources that you could use (if so inclined) to do further research. I do realize its much easier, to bleat, and parrot those you've chosen to surrender the painful process of thought to.

I think it is the lie that Obama separated children from their parents, and that Trump is the one who stopped the practice.

There are many to choose from, of course, but some of them are merely exaggerations, like the number of people at his inauguration.

There is the one about millions of illegals voting for Hillary, but to be fair he really said that there were millions of illegal votes, not necessarily from illegals. No need to split hairs here.

Your opinion? Which of Trump's lies is the most outrageous?
Trump sheep believe everything that comes out of his elitist mouth. And they claim to be for the "common people." Amazing.
