Do you think the abortion of healthy late-term fetuses by healthy mothers should be perfectly legal?
No.
Exactly.

This is the obnoxious thing about most abortion debates. Ideologues on both sides just launch missiles miles over each others' heads.

E.g., a state legislature considers a bill that makes a change to something with respect to abortion that in all likelihood would have a minor if any effect on actual controversial abortions, and state law would continue to generally not allow for unnecessary fetal death, and the reactions:

Right wing: "Democrats want to murder born babies!"
Left wing: "Right wingers want the state to oppressively control women's bodies!"

It's moronic.

Are you complaining about a woman choosing an abortion over carrying to term? So you are for forced birth? Are women merely "vessels" to carry men's sacred seed? Do you see all women in that light?
You still have to deliver the corpse after you kill it that late.

Why? The law has to accommodate the rare but real possibility that abortion to save the mother's life might be needed. Are mothers not human?
Would you let the mother die to save the fetus? Just how much of a "right to lifer" are you?
Would you let the mother die to save the fetus? Just how much of a "right to lifer" are you?
They use purposely vague "health of the mother" language to justify elective abortions after viability.
