The audience went absolutely wild for it.
Late on Sunday night, the Grammys took place, and while everyone will definitely make some talking points about Bruno Mars cleaning up, Jay-Z being entirely overlooked, and Beyonce's dress channelling Trinity from The Matrix, we imagine this sketch will be the one to result in the biggest political fallout.

Awards show host James Carden put today a little comedy segment featuring some of his famous friends "auditioning" to be the voice of the audio-book version of Fire And Fury: Inside The Trump White House.

John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg and DJ Khaled all take a pop at it, before so-hot-right-now Cardi B puts her own spin on it, until she snaps at the logistics of what she is actually doing: "Why am I even reading this shit. I can’t believe this. I can’t believe that he really… this is how he lives his life?"

We then cut to someone reading the book, their face obscured by the book, before it is quickly revealed to be Clinton herself, and the in the background, we can hear the Grammys audience going absolutely wild.

So let me get this straight. The Grammys idea of fighting sexual harassment is to present a woman known for enabling a sexual predator and attacking his victims reading from an author who spreads sexist rumors about powerful women.

I gotta side with “tone deaf” on this one.

Why don’t they understand that tens of millions of their paying audience don’t find this funny?

And the bit had James Cordan all over it. Totally his style/idea. He’s not American. He’s a friggin guest.

Maybe just “lay low” on this one, James?
