The President and his Legal team have made a good decision, and now that Trey Gowdy is working with them, the Democrats ought to take notice. Gowdy is twice as smart as any of the Democrats, and will make mince meat of them. Nancy can't be happy to see what is going on, and trying to keep the Democrats in line is going to eventually fail. Some of the House Democrats have already said they have been "told" to support Impeachment.

What the Democrats have decided to do, with this Impeachment Inquiry, shows they don't plan to be fair and have an honest, open discussion, as their secret meetings, behind closed doors, is not transparent, indicates nefarious underpinnings, and the American people will not stand for it.
Trey is not the man you think he is but he is all you got at this point besides Rudy and Sekulow. What a group, kind of like the Pep Boys.

On a happy trail
He's investigating all of the conspiracy theories Trump believes about the 2016 election. I find it difficult to believe he'd make a fool of himself like this.
Or maybe he's searching out a suitable residence for himself and Trump for when the shit really hits the fan.

Chief Justice John Roberts has no love lost for DJT after HE (sleazy Trump) claimed there were Clinton judges and Obama judges. Roberts WILL protect the United States S.Ct. over DJT.

"We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges," Roberts told the Associated Press this year in a rare rebuke of the president. "What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”

~Chief Justice John Roberts, November 21, 2018
I do have some confidence in Roberts but not in some of the others like Kavanaugh or Thomas.

You are parroting fake news ...... AGAIN !!!

There was a vote in the Nixon Impeachment.

They are comparing oranges to apples and you are falling for it.
So what? It's still not a law or a rule written anywhere.

The Constitution vests impeachment powers in the House of Representatives. Beyond that, the House votes on its own procedural rules. That leaves lots of room for interpretation and leeway for alternate beginnings.

“The Constitution is very clear about impeachment, but it is also not specific,” says Matt Glassman, an expert on legislative procedure at the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University, in a recent podcast.

In the two presidential impeachments of the modern era, the House did have an official kickoff vote on a resolution authorizing the way ahead. That’s important precedent, and could make voters and Republican officials view the process as more serious.

But House rules don’t appear to require such a step. And it typically has not been used in impeachments of other officials, notably federal judges, which begin in the Judiciary Committee and go to the full House after the panel has completed its investigation.

“The impeachment process may be initiated as the result of various actions and events, including the receipt and referral of information from an outside source, investigations by congressional committees under their general authority, or the introduction of articles of impeachment in the form of a House resolution,” says a Congressional Research Service overview of current House impeachment rules.

The Trump legal team is a lot smarter and more honest than any of the House Democrats, who have proven to be liars and opportunists.

The Democrats are going to regret their Impeachment shenanigans, as it's already shown to be a farce.

LOL ...

Is that what you got from the letter .......

The things people will believe ....
They said Trump is not being afforded due process and that's simply not true. As with any other person accused of a crime he is being investigated and if the evidence warrants he will be indicted by being impeached. Then he goes to trial in the Senate. How is he being denied due process?
