House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler said former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker contradicted previous testimony before the committee in a closed hearing on Tuesday. According to Nadler, Whitaker did not deny talking to President Trump about Michael Cohen.

"Unlike in the hearing room, Mr. Whitaker did not deny that the president called him to discuss Michael Cohen -- the Michael Cohen case, and personnel decisions in the Southern District," Nadler said Wednesday. Whitaker denied he had spoken to Mr. Trump about his former attorney, who is now cooperating with the special counsel's office, in testimony last month.

yeah. It is a big deal. But, it barely gets notice because of all the other big deals associated with the Trump administration.

POTUS is chief law enforcement officer. He can discuss whatever he wants.

Now we do know that the Øbama DOJ ordered no charges against Hillary.

Page said in her testimony that the FBI held “multiple conversations” with the Obama Department of Justice about charging Clinton with gross negligence, but the Bureau was told that such a charge would not be brought forward.

Hillary Clinton received what amounts to a secret pre-pardon from the Obama DOJ

Gross negligence?

That's not even a criminal charge. Might as well charge her with wicked halitosis or something.

But seriously, President Trump has been running the DOJ for over 2 years now. If his appointees have a charge to bring against Hillary Clinton, why won't they bring it? Are they afraid of her?

That doesn't mean that Whitaker can lie to Congress.
