POTUS is chief law enforcement officer. He can discuss whatever he wants.

Now we do know that the Øbama DOJ ordered no charges against Hillary.

Page said in her testimony that the FBI held “multiple conversations” with the Obama Department of Justice about charging Clinton with gross negligence, but the Bureau was told that such a charge would not be brought forward.

Hillary Clinton received what amounts to a secret pre-pardon from the Obama DOJ
So, according to you, if what you say Obama did was true, then it was completely and okay. Sorry, but I strongly disagree that the President has that authority.

The corruption with and around Trump is mind boggling, the whole Republican establishment is cesspool.
Between the Obama administration and Hillary's nomination, the Democrat establishment isn't any cleaner. All that Trump had down is dug the cesspool a little deeper. He didn't create it nor do only the Republicans live in it.

Gross negligence?

That's not even a criminal charge. Might as well charge her with wicked halitosis or something.

But seriously, President Trump has been running the DOJ for over 2 years now. If his appointees have a charge to bring against Hillary Clinton, why won't they bring it? Are they afraid of her?
Yes!! She might strangle them, just like she did to that poor, poor man, Antonin Scalia!

You obviously have no idea of just how dangerous she is!! She is not a woman to be trifled with! She is the criminal Mastermind of this Age!

the corruption under Trump doesn't come close to any other previous president. That includes Obama. The closest previous corruption was Nixon. And Trump even puts him to shame. It's everyday with Trump. Sometimes, multiple scandals are breaking within a 24 hour period. On those few and far between days when there isn't a scandal he's lying multiple times about something or other. Or, engaging in one of his myriad psychotic twitter episodes.

The House Judiciary Committee’s Democratic chairman said former acting attorney general Matthew G. Whitaker “did not deny” Wednesday that President Trump reached out to him to discuss a case against his former lawyer Michael Cohen, raising new questions about whether Trump attempted to obstruct proceedings concerning his personal and business matters.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) presented Whitaker’s comments during their closed-door meeting as a contradiction of his public congressional testimony in February, when Whitaker said Trump never expressed his dissatisfaction with Cohen for pleading guilty to various financial crimes and lying to Congress. When asked at that hearing whether he had discussed the Cohen case with Trump, Whitaker refused to answer.

“Unlike in the hearing room, Mr. Whitaker did not deny that the president called him to discuss the Michael Cohen case and personnel decisions in the Southern District,” Nadler said following his meeting with Whitaker on Wednesday, referring to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, which brought the case against Cohen.

According to Nadler, Whitaker did not deny that he had been “directly involved in conversations about whether to fire one or more U.S. attorneys.” He also did not deny that he had been “involved in conversations about the scope” of U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman’s recusal from the Cohen case, Nadler said, and whether subordinate prosecutors at the Southern District of New York “went too far” pursuing the campaign finance case in which Cohen has implicated Trump.

Didn't you catch that I posted it was a matter of degree, not that one was corrupt and the other wasn't?
