Why are Dems worried about the tax cut supposedly adding $1 Trillion to the debt?

Because the CBO uses static scoring, and assumes NOTHING will change in the economy over the next 10 years, they project the tax bill will add $1 Trillion to the debt over the next 10 years.

Naturally, the Dims in DC are apoplectic and shitting themselves over this money. Yet, the same CBO projects another $9 Trillion will be added to the debt over the next 10 years due to current spending. Why are they not worried about that 90% of the projected added debt, and pissing their pants over 10%?

Could it be that people will get to keep more of the money THEY earn? That always pisses Dims off.

Anyone else have an explanation for this selective outrage by the Dims?

The GOP claims this tax cut is all about boosting a failing economy and they claim that when Corporations get tax cuts it translates into higher wages and more jobs. There is ZERO evidence of that.

First, the economy as it relates to corporations is not failing. Anything but. Corps are sitting on so much cash right now it's unreal. Second, they've had every opportunity to expand and create jobs and/or raise wages. They didn't. They won't.

What they will do is hold the giveaway as cash just like they have with record profits and ship some to overseas accounts to avoid taxes.

Lastly, they (GOP) will have to find some way to pay for the lack of revenue that this tax bill will create. They have already said how they plan to do that. By taxing the middle and lower class and by attacking Social safety nets like Soc. Sec., Disability, Food Stamps to the poor, Veterans, healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid etc.

This is a quid pro quo to their corporate donors. The party of fiscal responsibility LOL only cares about spending when Dems are in control and when spending benefits the middle class and poor instead of the top 1%. These are not just talking points but are the truth. Besides the middle class and working poor, one other thing they don't care about.
