Why did God say: Let us give Satan to mankind?

Doesn't really matter in the end does it?

You know the consequences so you can stand in hell and give God the middle finger all you want but that torture is still going to hurt forever and ever.

Or you can suck it up and live a life of pure enjoyment?

That choice is ultimately yours and that is the choice you are given.

Now you will be down in Hell having your eyes gouged out with hot needles while your toenails are being ripped out yelling at God for punishing you and how you are how he made you (even though nobody will hear you) while I am sitting up in Heaven drinking martini's on a nice summer day in the sunshine, all because I was able to utter a few words that you refused to do.

Fair?

Maybe not but it is the choice you are given.

Up to you.
I and other Gnostic Christians have no supernatural beliefs so I am afraid you wasted your time on me.

We are Universalists and have tied righteousness to equality and think God must treat us all equal and take us all into heaven. Not the supernatural one but the only one we can know. Here and now.

Because he wanted us to make a choice on our own. I guess the Bishop slept through the "Free Will" Doctrine lessons.
Hmm.

A & E chose to have a moral sense by learning of good and evil and as scriptures say, become as Gods.

Do you see that as the right choice and if not, are you saying that mankind is better without a moral sense?

Would you give up yours?

Counterquestion: Are you not happy that god made the world and gave it to you?
I am quite please that there is a world here and that I was born.
That has nothing to do with God.
It is all nature.

If you think God creates and sustains us as some literalist theists do, then explain why he created the abominations you see in this clip.

What "Free Will"?

If I point a gun at your head and say "Tell me you love me or I'll blow your brains out"...and you are absolutely sure I mean and I DO mean it...

do you have "free will" to choose whether or not to tell me you love me???
Not to mention that Christianity says that Satan was given the power to deceive the whole world so Eve and her choice was based on deception that she could not resist.

No free will there.

Nobody knows what Hell actually is but TN is right in that it is the separation from God. You may think that is not bad but considering it's God, I don't imagine it will be pleasant.
Have you seen what Bishop Spong thinks of hell?

Note the face of the newscaster on hearing the truth from a man of the cloth, ---- for a change.

I see that the biblical experts agree with me more than you.
Which one? There are several different Xian interpretations there, not all the same.

You also leave out Bereishis (Genesis) chapter 1, which also mentions Adam. Not to further mention that the first human's name was also Adam.

Whether the translation properly uses the uppercase or lowercase depends on the context. But in Hebrew it is the same, and thus contextual.

In any case, "adam" does not mean "society" or "tribe." And in that prior post of yours, you did not mention "mankind" as one of the meanings of "adam," which it certainly is (depending on context).

Most of the bibles that I linked to agree with me and don't kill me with your semantics.

The old Pascal's wager reply....it really doesn't matter whether you believe in it or not because none of it exists anyway.
