becoming more and more
trump likes to accuse other people of hating America. But, in reality, he's the one that continually demonstrates his disdain for the things that truly make America exceptional. He's attacked the judiciary. He's attacked the free press. He's attacked people engaging in peaceful protests. He's called on duly elected officials to be sent back to the country they came from. He's fired anyone that refuses to put loyalty towards him before the country. He's interfered with and obstructed FBI investigations. He's taken the side of Putin over his own intelligence community. He's embraced white nationalism. He's alienated our allies. He's refused to cooperate with any congressional subpoena. He's all but invited foreign nations to engage in cyber attacks against the United States.

He's appointed cabinet members who have been engaged in destroying the agencies they've been put in charge of. Betsy DeVos, who is the head of the Dept of Education, doesn't believe in public schools. Ben Carson , who is the head of Housing and Urban Development, doesn't support the social safety nets. Tom Price, a guy that wanted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, was put in charge of Health and Human Services. US AG William Barr has been behaving like Trump's personal attorney. And has actually complied with Trump's directive that he find evidence of "treason" on the people who investigated him or his campaign.

Those are just the people who's managed to get confirmed. Many of the key positions crucial to the operation of our federal government are being run by acting directors. Or they just remain vacant. In fact, Trump prefers it that way because then he can just remove and replace anyone that doesn't put loyalty to him before country. Then, there's Kelly Ann Conway, Sarah Sanders, Sean Spicer, etc. All of whom have corrupted the WH in their own ways. There aren't anymore WH press briefings. But, before Trump got rid of them the WH briefing room was used as a disinformation arm of the WH. Sarah Sanders was even cited in the Muller Report as having lied to the American people. Kelly Ann Conway was recommended for termination because of her violation of the Hatch Act. But, of course, why shouldn't she? Look at her boss and his ever increasing running list of conflict of interest issues.

Trump has made a mockery of our political system. It's not all on him for sure. We're all to blame for allowing politicians to run this country into the ground. Trump is , more than anything else, the perfect avatar for just how bad things have gotten. I mean, think of it. The man ran on the slogan "Make America Great Again" . But now, he's actually putting himself up on a pedestal as an example of a man that loves this country. When has Trump ever demonstrated that to be true? Trump is one of those people that hates anyone so misguided as to show any kind of affinity towards him. He hates himself. He sees America as something he was able to bring down into the gutter where he resides. Why that is ? Who knows. But, he doesn't love America. He hates it.

I've heard you criticize Fox news and the conservatives on the supreme court so you must hate America also.

Shame on you.

And for the record....acting directors always run the agencies, the presidential appointments are just figureheads that get the information from the "acting directors" and give it to the president. They don't actually do any work.
